Online Scout Manager is an online MIS system that Leaders use to collate Personal Details, Emergency Contacts, Badges, Programmes, Events & Payments for all Young Members

Leaders can follow the link above to take them to 1st Hednesford's Office 365 Portal. Leaders can access their Emails via Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.

Compass is the MIS System that's used to collate all Adult Leaders Training, Permits, Contact Information and Disclosures. 

Leaders need access to compass to see their profile.

Leaders can access Group Information & Shared Documents on the Groups SharePoint. 

Important information can be sourced, along with link to Leader Training.

Volunteers can access their Scout Emails by clicking the above Link. 

Volunteers should also have access to the Groups Shared Calendar as well as links to book Meeting Rooms.

Volunteers can use Microsoft Teams to communicate with their teams, parents and for organising events. 

Leader Training

ll training needs should be discussed with the Group Scout Leader (GSL) before booking any training courses. For all leader training, you can book on to free training provided by the County. For more information on training date click here to view the County Calendar or alternatively visit the County web site here.

All Section Leaders and Section Supports must complete training modules 1 to 3 of Getting Started and training modules 5 to 19

All Group Managers and District Managers must complete training modules 1,2 & 4 of Getting Started and training modules 5 to 26

  • Module 5 – The Fundamentals of Scouting

  • Module 12(A) – Delivering a Quality Programme

All leaders must complete mandatory ongoing learning modules. These are Safety, Safeguarding and First Aid. You can find links to the Safety and Safeguarding modules here.

All Trustees and Executive Committee Member MUST complete the mandatory Online e-learning for Exec Members introduction - this can be found here.
